On January 2nd, 2004 William H. Webber was sworn in as Southborough’s Police Chief. A member of the Southborough Police Department since 1980, Chief Webber graduated from the Massachusetts State Police Academy, 73rd. MPOC class. Chief Webber obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at Northeastern University in Boston, and his Master of Public Administration from Clark University in Worcester. The Chief has also graduated from Police Command School held at Babson College in Wellesley Massachusetts. Chief Webber has extensive experience in all aspects of law enforcement operations and administration, and is skilled in the design, implementation and management of public safety strategies. Strong links between our Department and the citizens we serve have always been very important to us. They are the primary reason for the success of the Police Department and the relationship we have with the community. We want to build on these efforts and encourage your participation in them.
